2019 saw the successful launch of a Speakers Area with panels & breakout discussions. 2026 will see more practical knowledge sharing, activities, talks & workshops in the Arboretum Rose Garden.
Talks/discussions for 2026
1pm – Five UoN Postgrad students talk about their sustainable science research; this includes batteries, engine efficiency in aviation, reducing carbon in concrete, recovery of waste metals and greener medicines.
2.30pm – local delegates from the Nottingham Environment & Climate Assembly – Fola, Paul & Deanna will talk about the Manifesto followed by a discussion on how to make it happen
4pm – Tackling the ecological crisis in Nottingham – Giselle Sterry, Martin Willis, Elizabeth Morley, Harriet Thomas.
